Minister Saqr asserted Egypt’s pride in the strong ties with the Pakistani armed forces, emphasising the importance of further strengthening military cooperation.

For his part, Mirza affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting military ties with Egypt and exchanging expertise between their respective armed forces.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Ahmed Khalifa, along with the commanders of the main branches and several senior military officers from both countries.

In February 2024, the Egyptian and Pakistani Special Forces held the Raad-1 exercise in Egypt, as part of the military cooperation between both nations.
