The president's remarks came during a meeting on Thursday with NMA Chairman Ahmed El-Moslemany, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and Media Adviser to the President of the Republic Major General Mohsen Abdel-Nabi.

According to a statement by the presidential spokesman, the president also directed officials to move forward with preparing the global website for the Holy Quran Radio to preserve the heritage of Quran reciters and religious chanters.

This also aims to safeguard the numerous programmes that have been broadcast on the Holy Quran Radio since its establishment in 1964.

Earlier this week, President El-Sisi directed the formulation of a comprehensive roadmap for developing Egyptian media, drawing on all available specialized expertise and competencies.

"This aims to ensure national media keeps pace with rapid global changes and fulfils its mission in line with the orientations of the modern Egyptian state and the New Republic," the president said on Sunday.
