On Monday, light showers could pop up in Halayeb and Shalateen, occasionally thundery, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
In Greater Cairo, Monday will open at 35°C, nudging up to 36°C midweek before dipping back to 35°C through Friday.
The North Coast is set for cooler, more comfortable weather, with highs of 32°C on Monday slipping to 31°C by Friday.
In northern Upper Egypt, temperatures will hover between 37°C and 38°C through the week.
However, the country's deep south will sizzle at 43°C on Monday before easing to 41°C by the weekend — still hot, but a marked drop from last week’s blistering highs.
The EMA forecasts extremely hot conditions over South Sinai and Upper Egypt, but nights and early mornings will remain warm and sticky.
While humidity is expected to linger — making the air feel 2-3 degrees hotter than the thermometer suggests, the overall trend points to milder conditions from Monday through Friday.
