The Times noted that November is an ideal month for travellers to enjoy winter sun in Egypt, with tourism typically quieter after October’s school holidays and before the Christmas season begins.
According to The Times, Sharm El-Sheikh stands out in November, one of the best times of the year for diving in the Red Sea, with its world-renowned dive sites and coral-rich underwater landscapes.
The Red Sea popular resort city offers excellent diving conditions, and as the intense summer heat has eased, the sea remains pleasantly warm with clear visibility.
Beneath the surface, visitors can explore vibrant marine life — from small reef fish to striking moray eels and even octopuses, with the added chance of spotting whitetip sharks early in the month.
Beyond Sharm El-Sheikh, The Times’ list features destinations as varied as Stockholm, Malta, Athens, Florence, Berlin, New York, Kyoto and Buenos Aires.
In May, the US global research and advisory group ‘Mastercard Economics Institute’ named Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh among the top 15 global travel destinations for summer 2025.
Sharm El-Sheikh is renowned for its coral reefs and scuba diving, surfing, safari adventures, mountain hiking, fishing, and the famous Ras Mohamed Nature Reserve.
The resort also boasts modern tourist compounds that cater to domestic and international visitors.
Hotel occupancy rates in Sharm El-Sheikh reached 90 percent since New Year eve, according to MENA.
According to The Times, Sharm El-Sheikh attracts around 10 million tourists a year.
