Hospitals also reported that 15 aid workers were killed and 80 injured by Israeli shelling and gunfire during the same period. The casualties bring the total number of aid workers killed since the beginning of Israel's eight-month blockade to 2,597, with 19,054 injured.
Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 38 people since early Friday, more than two-thirds of them in Gaza City, Wafa added, citing medical sources. The attacks come as Israel pushes ahead with its brutal invasion to occupy Gaza's most densely populated centre, amid growing warnings of an imminent massacre of Palestinians.
Israel's nearly two-year genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 66,225 Palestinians and injured more than 168,938, the vast majority of them women and children, according to Gaza's health ministry.
Independent estimates suggest the actual death toll may be far higher, as emergency services continue to be deliberately targeted by Israeli forces. Attacks on ambulances and civil defence teams have left many casualties and bodies trapped beneath rubble or scattered across roads in the war-torn enclave.
On Thursday alone, Israeli strikes killed at least 52 people, including a staff member of the French charity Doctors Without Borders, according to civil defence officials and hospital sources.
