The ministry said in a statement that four of the dead were killed as a result of direct targeting, while 15 bodies were recovered from under the rubble.
The ministry indicated that several victims remain under the rubble or in the streets, due to the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them.
According to the statement, the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since the outbreak of the war on 7 October 2023, has risen to 68,519, while the number of wounded has reached 170,382.
The ministry added that since the ceasefire was declared on 10 October, 93 people have been killed and 324 injured, while 464 bodies have been recovered from various locations.
It also explained that 220 new names were added to the cumulative death toll after their data was completed by the judicial committee charged with the missing persons file and reports, between October 17 and 24.
The ministry stated that 64 of the 195 bodies recently handed over by the Israeli authorities to the Palestinian side have been identified so far.
The United Nations and international relief organisations estimate that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip remains catastrophic, with a continuing shortage of basic services and the obstruction of relief operations, despite more than two years having passed since the start of the military escalation in the Strip.
