The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, stated on Telegram that it had recovered the bodies of two more dead captives and planned to return them to Tel Aviv as part of the 10 October ceasefire deal.

The latest delivery raises the number of dead Israelis who were returned to Tel Aviv by the Palestinian resistance group to 17 out of 28 killed in the Israeli carpet bombing of Gaza after 7 October 2023.

From Tuesday night into Wednesday, Israeli airstrikes killed more than 100 people, including dozens of children, in the deadliest night of bombardment of the strip in violation of the truce since 10 October.

The Gaza Health Ministry said 46 children and 20 women were among the 104 killed, and that at least 211 people had died and 597 others been injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began.

This brings the death toll among the Palestinians in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza to over 68,527 and injured 170,395 , most of them women and children.
