Additionally, vehicles heading for the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road from Juhayna Square in 6 October City via the Central Axis will use the Dahshur-Wahat link road.

Vehicles coming from Sphinx International Airport to the GEM via the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road will take the service road toward the Dahshur link or ascend to the Tahya Misr Axis.

Moreover, the ministry stated that vehicles heading to Orabi Axis from Lebanon Square via the 26 July Axis will use the Ring Road entrance toward the Western Arch.

The ministry’s statement affirmed that necessary traffic services will be deployed to ensure smooth navigation and traffic flow and to guide drivers to alternative routes.

The GEM’s opening ceremony is expected to draw distinguished guests, including world leaders, heads of state, diplomats, and prominent figures from across the globe, all gathered to celebrate this landmark achievement.
