Two Palestinian teenagers were killed on Thursday by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank village of Judeira.

The two Palestinian 16-year-olds, Mohammad Abdullah Teim and Mohammad Rashad Fadel Qasem were killed by Israeli forces overnight.

The two 16-year-olds, Mohammad Abdullah Teim and Mohammad Rashad Fadel Qasem, were shot after Israeli forces opened heavy live fire at them in the town of Al-Judeira, near the separation barrier.

The Israeli occupation army withheld their bodies, the Palestinian health ministry said.

Although located in the West Bank, which Israel has occupied since 1967, Judeira is surrounded by roads and land effectively annexed by Israel.

On Wednesday, a 15-year-old was killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank. Ambulance crews were prevented from reaching him, and he was left to bleed to death before soldiers took his body away.

Israeli violence against Palestinians in the West Bank has escalated since its genocidal war on Gaza began in October 2023.

The UN humanitarian relief chief, Tom Fletcher, has sounded the alarm over rising violence in the occupied West Bank, where attacks by Israeli settlers and army on Palestinians and their property continue to escalate.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, at least 1,001 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers since the war began.

During the same period, 43 Israelis, including soldiers, have been killed in Palestinian attacks in the West Bank, according to official Israeli figures.
