The Complex of Arts
“Egypt’s Voice” exhibition showcases the works of 25 Egyptian artists from different generations, influenced by the voice of the Umm Kolthoum, who created works of art that spanned photography and sculpture. It also explores the life of Umm Kolthoum through Egyptian journalism spanning nearly 100 years, and includes original newspaper and magazine pages from throughout her artistic career. In collaboration with the Fine Arts Sector and the Cultural Development Fund, the exhibition showcases many of Umm Kolthoum's belongings from her museum in El Manial (closing 15 November).

“Journey of a Paper Master: From Pulp to Perfection” exhibition

“Soknopaiou Nesos – The Temple of Sobek and Isis Nepherses” the exhibition highlights more than two decades of excavations at Soknopaiou Nesos, held by the University of Salento (Italy), focusing on the sacred precinct of the temple of Soknopaios, a crocodile-like god with a falcon’s head. Visitors will discover how the temple functioned through a selection of artifacts that reveal aspects of religion, rituals, festivals, and priestly life. Newly excavated objects are displayed alongside pieces from the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (29 October- until January 2026).

“Forever Is Now” exhibition in its 5th edition is presenting installations by a group of Egyptian and international artists. Carved from marble scraps, this reimagined infinity symbol stands as a timeless dialogue between ancient wisdom and contemporary vision. The symbol, a triune infinity celebrating harmony between nature and artifice, will rise in the desert as a sign of renewal and hope for the world

Safarkhan pays homage to the legacy of Egypt’s most versatile modernist, Salah Abdel-Kerim (1925-1988), on the centennial of his birth with an exquisite collection of artworks and personal articles, supplemented by a trove of special allocations for this event from the private collections of Safarkhan and the heirs to his estate. Abdel-Kerim hybridized the notion of an artist in the traditional sense, encompassing veritable roles of; painter, interior designer, muralist, ceramicist, sculptor, mosaicist, scenographer, caricaturist, graphic designer, academic and ultimately philosopher of art and design. As such, he has been posthumously recognized as a force of transformation and transcendence in the visual language of modern Egypt (19 November - 10 December).

“Egyptian Echoes: Sphinxes in Croatia” exhibition of photos is held in cooperation with the Embassy of Croatia in Cairo. The exhibition is organized to commemorate the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between Egypt and Croatia in 1992.
It aims to highlight the long-standing cultural dialogue between the two countries by tracing the legacy of ancient Egyptian symbols in Croatia (closing 13 November).
