The Pharaohs, who were 32nd in October, finished third at the Al-Ain International Cup after a 2-0 loss to Uzbekistan and a penalty shootout win over Cape Verde following a 1-1 draw.
Despite the drop, Egypt remained third in Africa, behind Morocco — up one place to 11th — and Senegal, who held steady at 18th.
Spain, Argentina, France and England retained the top four positions.
The November ranking is expected to serve as the basis for seedings ahead of next year’s FIFA World Cup draw.
