The Jerusalem Governorate said in a statement that about 15 settlers attacked the community and stole solar-powered floodlights, noting that the community had been subjected to a similar attack the previous night, during which stones were thrown at residents’ dwellings, WAFA reported.

The Khillat al-Sidra community is surrounded by six settlement outposts, from which groups of settlers set out to carry out attacks aimed at pressuring Palestinian residents and forcing them to leave their lands.

The governorate affirmed that the persistent attacks against Bedouin communities in the vicinity of Jerusalem are aimed at forcibly emptying the area of its residents, and called for urgent measures to ensure their protection.

According to the Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out 2,144 attacks during November, including 1,523 attacks by Israeli forces and 621 by settlers.

The majority of the attacks were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh (360), Hebron (348), Bethlehem (342), and Nablus (334).
