The Sky Blues reached the final after beating Enppi 4-0 in the semi-finals in April, while ZED defeated Talae El-Geish 3-1 to secure their place in the title match.

Pyramids enter the game in high spirits as they continue their bid for the Egyptian Premier League title, while ZED are competing in the relegation group.

The Egyptian Football Association’s competitions committee said that if the match ends level after regular time, it will go to extra time.

If the score remains tied after extra time, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.

The CAF Champions League holders will bid to add another Egypt Cup trophy to their cabinet, having won it in 2024 with a 1-0 victory over ZED in the final.

Last season, Pyramids failed to defend their title after losing 8-7 on penalties to Zamalek following a 1-1 draw.

Pyramids are second in the league’s championship group standings with 51 points, two behind leaders Zamalek.

ZED are third in the relegation group standings with 43 points and have already secured their Premier League status for next season.

Zamalek, the defending champions, were eliminated in the round of 16 this season.
