Militants detonated a car bomb at a checkpoint in northwestern Pakistan and opened fire on police, killing at least 15 and wounding three, Pakistani officials said on Sunday.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Egypt reiterated its full rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism, stressing the importance of intensified international efforts to combat terrorism.
Cairo also expressed its full solidarity with Pakistan and support for all efforts aimed at preserving the country’s security and stability.
Egypt extended its condolences to the victims of the attack and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
