In a statement, the ERC said it facilitated entry procedures for the patients and their escorts, while also providing hot meals, clothing, and personal care supplies to help meet their basic needs during their stay.
The Egyptian Red Crescent added that it also assisted those departing from Egypt back to Gaza.
The organization, the country’s national body for coordinating and sending aid to Gaza, has maintained a continuous presence at the Rafah crossing since the beginning of the crisis, operating around the clock to provide humanitarian support.
