According to the ERC, the national coordination body for aid delivery to Gaza, the convoy carried food parcels, medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel trucks to keep hospitals and vital facilities operating in the strip.
The shipment, launched under the “Zad Al-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza” initiative, also included clothes, mattresses, and tents to shelter those displaced due to the ongoing Israeli aggression across Gaza.
The dispatch comes as part of Cairo's steadfast commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Since Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, Egypt has delivered nearly one million tons of humanitarian assistance to the strip, representing around 70 percent of all aid sent to Gaza, supported by the efforts of over 65,000 ERC volunteers.
Meanwhile, Israel has continued its brutal attacks against Palestinians, violating the ceasefire agreement brokered by Egypt, the US, Qatar, and Turkey in October 2025.
On Monday, the UN demanded that Israel take measures to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza and decried indications of "ethnic cleansing" in the strip and in the occupied West Bank.
In a report, the UN rights office said Israel's actions in Gaza since the start of the war involved "gross violations" of international law, amounting in many cases to "war crimes and other atrocity crimes."
Since October 2023, Israel's war on Gaza has killed 72,763 Palestinians and wounded 172,664 others, most of them women and children.
