EgyptAir resumes direct Cairo Kuwait flights from 1 June

In light of the gradual resumption of air traffic operations across the region, EgyptAir announced the reinstatement of its direct flights between Cairo and Kuwait, starting 1 June 2026, operating one daily flight.

The national carrier had previously suspended flights to several Gulf destinations due to escalating regional tensions and temporary airspace closures in several Gulf countries amid the regional conflict.

EgyptAir added that customers can review their bookings and inquiries through the airline’s customer service centre by calling 1717 from any mobile phone within Egypt, 090070000 from any landline in Egypt, or 97142306666 for international calls.            

The resumption of EgyptAir flights comes amid a disruption of regional aviation caused by the US-Israel war on Iran that began in late February.
