Mild spring weather to prevail across Egypt through Wednesday

Mild spring weather is expected to continue across most of Egypt through Wednesday, with warm daytime temperatures, cooler nights, and morning fog in several areas, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

Mild spring weather is expected to prevail across most of Egypt through Wednesday, bringing cooler mornings and warm daytime temperatures, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

Temperatures are expected to remain particularly high in southern Upper Egypt, while nighttime weather will stay relatively moderate nationwide, the authority said.

The EMA also forecast morning fog between 4am and 8am on roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, with dense fog possible in some areas at times.

Light rain is expected intermittently on Saturday in parts of the northern coast and the northern Nile Delta, while active winds are forecast across most regions during the five days.

According to the forecast, daytime temperatures in Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta are expected to range between 30°C and 31°C, while highs on the northern coast are forecast at between 24°C and 25°C.

Northern Upper Egypt is expected to record highs ranging between 32°C and 34°C, while southern Upper Egypt will remain the hottest region, with temperatures forecast between 36°C and 38°C throughout the period.
