Emergency operations forces recovered the bodies and transported them to Al-Badrashin Hospital. The vehicle was later retrieved from the canal.

The Giza Security Directorate received a report of a traffic accident involving a vehicle plunging into the Mariouteya Canal in Al-Badrashin.

Security forces immediately moved to the scene, where initial inspection showed that the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the car to veer off the road and overturn into the waterway.

The accident resulted in the death of all seven passengers. A formal report was filed, and the Public Prosecution has been notified to begin investigations into the incident.

Road accidents remain a recurring problem in Egypt, often linked to speeding and poor enforcement, with deadly crashes frequently reported on desert highways.
