The Saudia service will include six weekly flights, three from Riyadh and three from Jeddah, starting late July, according to a company official cited by Al-Sharq Bloomberg on Monday.
Meanwhile, flydubai announced it will operate four weekly flights between Dubai and Alamein starting 20 June, with plans to increase frequency to a daily service from July.
The renewed services come as Gulf carriers resume and expand direct connections to Alamein, a relatively new addition to Egypt’s international tourism map.
In previous summer seasons, several Gulf airlines—including Saudia Airlines, flynas, Etihad Airways, and flydubai—operated direct flights to the coastal city for the first time, supporting inbound tourism growth.
According to Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism, Alamein welcomed visitors from 104 nationalities last summer, highlighting its rising profile as a regional tourist destination.
