The visit underscored the military's efforts to integrate civilian and military training programs aimed at preparing future leaders across a range of disciplines, while strengthening cooperation between young Egyptians from different professional backgrounds.
During the tour, Zaher conveyed President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's greetings to academy cadets and civilian trainees, stressing that bringing together promising civilian participants and military students within the academy represents the foundation of a broader system of integration and cooperation among Egypt's youth.
He described young Egyptians as the country's hope and the driving force behind its development, adding that such integration is a cornerstone for building capable citizens and safeguarding the nation's achievements across sectors.
The defence minister said the Armed Forces General Command remains committed to closely monitoring the academy's educational and training programs, which are implemented in line with the latest qualification and development systems.
He urged trainees to remain dedicated to their studies and training, maintain physical fitness, and broaden their knowledge of national and international issues to develop sound awareness and understanding.
He also praised the academy's faculty members for their role in the training process.

The delegation included Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Ahmed Khalifa, Transport Minister Kamel Al-Wazir, Endowments Minister Osama Al-Azhari, Education and Technical Education Minister Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Justice Minister Mahmoud Helmy El-Sherif, and several senior Armed Forces commanders.
The officials watched daily sports activities conducted by cadets and civilian trainees, participated in a fitness formation with civilian program participants, and toured several upgraded training grounds and physical preparation facilities.
Zaher also held discussions with civilian trainees on their academic programs and how the courses contribute to developing their personal skills and enhancing their professional capabilities in their respective fields.
The visit concluded with the defence minister and accompanying ministers joining the students for breakfast.
