The operation was carried out after completing all necessary technical procedures to return the vessel safely to its navigation course.
Minya's governor, Major General Emad Kadwani, followed the refloating operation around the clock. He emphasized that the governorate provided full technical support and ensured the safety of all passengers and crew on board.
The Minya governorate also confirmed that no injuries or human or material losses were reported as a result of the incident. It praised the executive authorities' swift response and the efforts of the team involved in managing the situation and restoring normal river navigation.
Moreover, the governorate stated that technical inspections were conducted to ensure the vessel’s seaworthiness before resuming its journey. At the same time, it affirmed that relevant authorities continue to monitor river traffic to ensure the smooth flow of navigation along the Nile.
