The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) will host the ninth edition of DevOpsDays Cairo on September 26 at the Digital Egypt Innovation Center (DEIC) in Giza. This year’s conference will be held under the theme “Sustaining Development and Operations Practices in the Age of Agentic AI.”

The event aims to explore how organizations can leverage the advanced capabilities of artificial intelligence while ensuring the long-term sustainability and resilience of their IT systems. Discussions will center on three key pillars: people, processes, and technology products and tools, with the goal of fostering more efficient, effective, and sustainable development and operations environments.

DevOpsDays Cairo 2026 will bring together specialists, researchers, industry experts, and practitioners from the fields of software development, IT operations, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and software engineering. The agenda will feature technical sessions and presentations highlighting the latest industry trends, practical AI applications, and the challenges associated with integrating AI technologies into modern development environments.

Originally launched in Belgium in 2009, the DevOpsDays conference series is now held in more than 60 cities worldwide. The events cover a wide range of topics, including software development, IT infrastructure operations, automation, cybersecurity, and organizational culture. Cairo has hosted DevOpsDays since 2018, making Egypt the first Arab country to organize the internationally recognized event.

Professionals interested in speaking at the conference can submit their proposals until July 5 through the official submission link provided by the organizers.
