The convoy, which headed to Gaza early Wednesday morning, included truckloads of donated meat, food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and petroleum products intended to help operate hospitals and other critical facilities in the enclave.
The ERC said the shipment also contained essential supplies for displaced Palestinians, including clothing and tents.
The organization added that it has maintained a continuous presence at the Egyptian-Gaza border since the outbreak of the war and reiterated that the Rafah crossing has never been closed from the Egyptian side.
As Egypt's national mechanism for coordinating humanitarian aid to Gaza, the ERC said it remains on alert across its logistics hubs and continues efforts to facilitate the entry of relief assistance into the strip.
More than 65,000 volunteers are participating in the organization's humanitarian operations supporting Gaza, according to the statement.
The 211th Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza, a convoy arrives one day after Egypt dispatched its 210th aid convoy, carrying more than 1,750 tonnes of humanitarian assistance, underscoring Cairo's continued efforts to sustain aid flows into the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing war and worsening humanitarian conditions.
Egypt has delivered nearly one million tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza since the outbreak of the war, accounting for roughly 70 percent of all assistance that has entered the enclave.
The latest convoy also comes as international agencies continue to warn of severe shortages of food, fuel, medicines, and shelter materials in Gaza. Previous ERC shipments have focused on supplying hospitals with fuel and medical equipment, as well as providing tents and clothing for displaced families.
The aid deliveries coincide with renewed Egyptian diplomatic efforts to advance an October 2025 ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas to end the Israeli genocidal war on the strip.
A senior Hamas delegation led by Gaza-based Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya arrived in Cairo last week for talks with Egyptian mediators on implementing the next phase of the ceasefire deal.
Egypt has also hosted meetings involving Palestinian factions and mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey to break the deadlock in negotiations and advance the agreement.
