In a statement, the Egyptian foreign ministry reaffirmed its full solidarity with Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and its support for all measures they take to safeguard their security, stability, and to protect citizens and national resources.

Cairo further reiterated its categorical rejection of these attacks, stressing that the security of Arab states is a fundamental pillar of Egyptian and Arab national security.

The ministry stressed the need to halt escalation, respect state sovereignty, and prioritize political and diplomatic solutions to preserve regional security and stability.

The latest developments come amidst renewed military escalation between the US and Iran, with Washington launching fresh attacks against the Islamic Republic, while Tehran has launched retaliatory strikes on American assets in the Gulf region.

Growing global concern has emerged that the conflict could widen further and disrupt maritime security, energy supplies, and commercial routes across the Gulf and Red Sea.
