The five-week program, marking Greece’s fourth consecutive participation, was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen military cooperation with friendly nations.
According to a statement by the Egyptian military spokesman on Tuesday, the curriculum included theoretical lectures and practical exercises covering operational planning, air operations management, and command-and-control procedures.
It also featured joint air sorties designed to unify planning methodologies and develop air tactics in line with modern aviation concepts.
Additionally, multi-role fighter aircraft from both sides carried out numerous joint flights, the statement added, noting that these manoeuvres facilitated the exchange of tactical expertise, enhanced combat skills, and raised the overall operational readiness of the participating personnel.
A key focus of the program was training mission commanders to lead multinational, multi-system air formations and coalitions.
The training activities demonstrated the high level of proficiency and professionalism of the participating personnel, reflecting the advanced human and technical capabilities of both the Egyptian and Greek Air Forces and their ability to carry out joint missions under various conditions.
The statement added that the program reflects the growing military partnership and cooperation between the Egyptian and Greek Armed Forces, as well as the commitment of the Egyptian General Command of the Armed Forces to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise with the armed forces of friendly nations.
