"Our dear audience in Egypt, we would like to inform you that Wael Jassar’s concert in Cairo has been postponed," he wrote on his Instagram just hours before the original concert was supposed to take place on 19 June.
"We also announce to his fans that the new date for the concert has been set for Thursday, 25 June 2026," the post reads.
Jassar explained that the decision was due to "special circumstances beyond our control." "We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause, and we greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to an exceptional evening worthy of your artistic taste in the heart of Cairo."
Wael Jassar’s most recent Cairo concert took place in February this year, drawing large audiences to the open-air Fountain Theatre at the Cairo Opera House. The venue for his upcoming performance has yet to be revealed.
