The inaugural flight, operated by an Airbus A320neo, marks the third destination added under the airline's current expansion plan, following the launch of services to Los Angeles and Chicago in the United States.
The new route increases EgyptAir's operations between Egypt and Italy to 33 weekly flights, comprising 17 services to Milan, 14 to Rome, and two to Venice.
The inaugural flight departed from Cairo International Airport's Terminal 3 before arriving at Venice Marco Polo Airport, where it was received by airport officials.
According to the airline, the Venice service is intended to strengthen tourism and business travel between Egypt and Italy while expanding travel options for passengers.
EgyptAir has been increasing its international network in recent months by adding destinations and boosting frequencies on routes where demand has grown, particularly in Europe and North America.
Italy remains one of EgyptAir's largest European markets, with Rome and Milan already served by multiple weekly flights.
The Venice route adds a third Italian destination to the airline's network as Egypt seeks to expand air connectivity and attract more international visitors.
