The TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup preliminary rounds are to kick off in September 2026 with the group stages scheduled between November 2026 and January 2027.
Finals of both competitions are to be played from 9-31 May 2027.
Prize money of $6 million will be awarded to the Champions League winners while $4 million for the Confederation Cup champions remains in place.
The 2026/27 season will kick-off with the first preliminary round on 4-6 September 2026 (first leg), followed by the return legs from 11-13 September 2026.
The second preliminary round is scheduled for 16-18 October 2026, with the decisive return fixtures taking place between 23-25 October 2026.
Following the completion of the preliminary stages, the group phase of both competitions will begin at the end of November.
