The convoy, which included several trucks, also carried medicines and fuel needed to operate hospitals and other essential facilities in the strip, the ERC, Egypt's national mechanism for coordinating humanitarian aid to Gaza, added.
The organization said it has maintained a presence at the border since the start of the crisis, stressing that the Rafah crossing has never been closed from the Egyptian side.
It affirmed that its teams remain on alert across all its logistics centres as it continues efforts to deliver humanitarian and relief assistance to Gaza.
According to the ERC, the total volume of aid delivered to Gaza has exceeded one million tons since the start of the war, with support from more than 65,000 volunteers.
The latest convoy comes as Egypt intensifies its aid efforts to help alleviate the prolonged suffering of the Palestinian people.
A day earlier, Egypt sent over 3,500 tons of humanitarian aid through the 229th convoy, including food parcels, flour, medical supplies, medicines, relief materials, and 1,250 tons of fuel.
Meanwhile, Israel has continued its attacks across Gaza despite a fragile ceasefire that took effect in October 2025.
On Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces detained seven Palestinian fishermen off central Gaza, while Israeli strikes and shelling killed at least two Palestinians and wounded several others.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israel has killed at least 1,072 Palestinians and wounded more than 3,463 others in Gaza since the truce took effect.
The ministry said the overall death toll since October 2023 has reached at least 73,098, with 173,571 wounded.
Israel's ongoing genocidal war and continued restrictions on aid entering and being distributed inside Gaza have worsened the humanitarian crisis in the territory.
