The schedule reflects how Egypt's coastal developments have evolved into seasonal cultural hubs, where concerts have become as central to the summer experience as the beaches themselves. With much of the summer still ahead, more concerts and artist announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
For now, venues such as Teatro Romano in New Alamein are staging weekly headline performances, while beachfront locations, including Cocoon Beach, Kyma Beach, and Beachouse ONE Seashell, are pairing sunset shows with electronic music events that stretch late into the night.
Private developments are also increasingly using exclusive concerts as part of their lifestyle offering. In tandem, festival programming continues to expand, with Porto Summer Festival at Porto Golf Alamein adding rap and hip-hop to the season's increasingly diverse musical lineup.
The programme spans nearly every genre, from Arabic pop and nostalgic 1990s hits to indie favourites, rap, mahraganat performers and globally renowned house DJs.
Among the season's biggest draws is Egyptian rap star Marwan Pablo, whose appearance at Porto Summer Festival underscores the growing prominence of hip-hop on Egypt's summer concert circuit. Pablo, one of the country's most streamed artists and a leading figure in the Arabic trap movement, will headline the festival alongside fellow rapper Lege-Cy, reflecting how North Coast entertainment has broadened beyond traditional pop concerts to embrace younger audiences and contemporary music trends.
