The extended schedule aims to accommodate supporters attending the event and ease their return after the celebration.
Monday’s celebration at Cairo International Stadium is the latest in a series of public and official tributes to the Pharaohs following their return from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Thousands welcomed the squad at the Alamein International Airport on Friday before the players toured New Alamein aboard an open-top bus carrying the message “100 million thank you.”
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi honoured the players and coaching staff in New Alamein on Saturday, awarding them the “Cup of Pride and Glory” and commemorative medals in recognition of Egypt’s best-ever World Cup performance.
Egypt advanced beyond the World Cup group stage for the first time, finished second in Group G with five points, and defeated Australia to reach the last 16.
The Pharaohs’ campaign ended with a dramatic 3-2 loss to defending champions Argentina, despite leading 2-0 until the 79th minute.
Egypt finished 15th overall.
