Hosny will perform as part of celebrations marking the team's campaign, which saw the Pharaohs reach the round of 16 for the first time in the country's history.
The team received a warm welcome from thousands of supporters upon its return to Egypt on Friday at Alamein International Airport. The following day, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received the squad and praised its achievements.
The event's title, "100 Million Thanks", is intended to express the Egyptian public's gratitude for the team's performance.
The celebration will begin at 9 p.m. and end at midnight. It is open to the public, with tickets available online through Tazkarti. Cairo Metro's Green Line 3 will extend services until 2 a.m. to accommodate attendees.
Hosny also performed on June 11 at the opening ceremony of the Egyptian Fan Zone at the Green River in the New Administrative Capital to mark the start of the tournament. He performed "Helwa Ya Baladi" ("My Beautiful Country"), originally made famous by Dalida, and later released his rendition as a single on streaming platforms.
Hosny rose to prominence in 2002 with a joint album alongside Sherine Abdel Wahab before launching his solo career with the album Hob ("Love") in 2004.
He later moved into acting, starring in several commercially successful Egyptian films, including the Omar & Salma trilogy. His latest album, Lena Moad ("We Have an Appointment"), was released in July 2025. The same month, he signed with Warner Music Group as part of an effort to expand his international audience.
