Trezeguet, 31, returned to his boyhood club last summer on a five-year contract from Turkish side Trabzonspor.

The winger produced a strong performance with the Red Devils last season, scoring 18 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions.

He finished as Ahly's leading scorer in the Egyptian Premier League with 11 goals.

The international winger has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Riyadh SC.

A product of Ahly's youth teams, Trezeguet left the club in 2016 to join Belgian side Anderlecht before going on to play for several European clubs, including Premier League outfit Aston Villa. He later joined Qatar's Al Rayyan on loan from Trabzonspor before completing his return to Ahly.

At international level, Trezeguet has earned 100 caps for Egypt and was part of the squad that reached the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
