The convoy included food supplies, medicines, medical and relief materials, and petroleum products needed to operate hospitals and other vital facilities in the strip.
The ERC said the shipment was dispatched as part of its role as Egypt's national mechanism for coordinating humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
The organization said it has maintained a presence at the border since the outbreak of the crisis, stressing that the Rafah crossing has never been closed from the Egyptian side.
It has also kept its logistics centres on high alert and continued efforts to deliver aid to Gaza, with total assistance exceeding one million tons, supported by more than 75,000 volunteers.
The latest aid delivery comes as Israeli attacks continue in Gaza despite the ceasefire that took effect in October 2025.
On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike on a police station in the western Jabalia refugee camp killed eight Palestinians, including a female police officer and the station's chief, according to Gaza's Civil Defence agency and Al-Shifa Hospital.
The latest deaths brought the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces since the ceasefire took effect to at least 1,110, according to Gaza's health ministry.
Since the outbreak of the war on 7 October 2023, the Israeli assault has killed at least 73,221 Palestinians and wounded more than 173,686, mostly women and children.
The worsening humanitarian situation has coincided with renewed scrutiny of the treatment of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
Palestinian rights organizations launched an international campaign on Tuesday to document and combat alleged sexual violence against detainees, saying they had collected dozens of testimonies from former prisoners.
Campaign coordinator Youssef Al-Amayreh, who was released in January after two years in Israeli custody, said the initiative sought to “expose the crimes committed against detainees” and end Israel’s “policy of impunity.” Palestinian journalist Sami Al-Saee separately alleged that guards subjected him to “gang rape” during his detention.
A UN investigation documented 52 incidents of torture or other ill-treatment and another 33 incidents of sexual torture or sexualized ill-treatment. Around 9,500 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli prisons, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.
