Salah became a free agent on 1 July after Liverpool agreed to terminate his contract 12 months early, bringing to an end a nine-year spell on Merseyside.
He departed as Liverpool's third-highest goalscorer of all time with 257 goals in 442 appearances, behind club legends Ian Rush and Roger Hunt, having helped the club win the Premier League and Champions League among other honours.
Ramy Abbas Issa, writing on social media platform X, said he and Salah were not engaging with clubs the player has no genuine interest in joining, pushing back against a wave of transfer reports linking the 34-year-old to multiple destinations.
"We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season but we may know very soon," Abbas Issa wrote, adding: "It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn't want to play for, just for the sake of noise."
Speculation over Salah's next move has intensified since Egypt's elimination from the World Cup by Argentina in the round of 16. Clubs in Major League Soccer and Saudi Arabia have been mentioned as possible destinations, while Turkish side Besiktas has also been linked following supporter chants referencing Salah's name at a recent event.
Besiktas president Serdar Adali denied any interest in signing the player this week, telling local media the reports were untrue.
Abbas Issa has repeatedly intervened publicly to dispute transfer rumours he considers inaccurate, and Friday's statement continued that pattern, reiterating that no agreement over Salah's next destination has been reached.
