El-Sisi said Egypt was seeking closer cooperation with Montenegro, particularly in trade and investment, and welcomed the establishment of an Egypt-Montenegro parliamentary friendship group.
Milatović said his country was interested in expanding cooperation with Egypt in tourism, energy and infrastructure, adding that Montenegro hoped to attract more Egyptian investment beyond the tourism sector.
He also praised Egypt's efforts to combat irregular migration.
Regional developments featured prominently in the talks, with El-Sisi outlining Egypt's efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East and urging continued diplomatic engagement between the United States and Iran to reach a comprehensive and lasting agreement.
On Gaza, El-Sisi reiterated Egypt's support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and rejected any displacement of Palestinians from the territory. He also called for the reconstruction of Gaza and the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid.
According to the presidency, Milatović expressed support for diplomatic solutions to regional conflicts and backed a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue.
The Montenegrin president also invited El-Sisi to visit Montenegro.
The visit included expanded talks between the two countries' delegations and marked what both sides described as the beginning of closer political consultations and bilateral cooperation.
