In a statement, the foreign ministry said Cairo stood in full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and supported measures to protect their security, stability and territorial integrity.
Egypt also reiterated its rejection of attacks on the sovereignty of Arab states or the targeting of civilian infrastructure and civilians.
The condemnation came after Iran resumed attacks on Gulf states and Jordan following renewed US strikes on Iranian military sites, further escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran.
The latest flare-up follows US accusations that Iran attacked shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil transit route that has become a focal point in the confrontation between the two countries.
The renewed fighting has raised concerns over the collapse of a fragile de-escalation process despite a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the United States and Iran in mid-June that had been viewed as a step towards ending months of conflict.
Egypt has been holding diplomatic consultations with regional and international partners in an effort to contain the crisis and encourage a diplomatic resolution.
