EgyptAir has signed an agreement with Salesforce to introduce an artificial intelligence and data-driven customer service platform as part of efforts to modernize its digital services, the airline stated on Monday.

The new platform will initially be integrated into EgyptAir's website before expanding to the airline's mobile applications, bringing together booking, sales, and customer service systems in a single digital platform.

According to the airline, the system will use data analytics to personalize services, improve response times, and support customer communications throughout the travel journey.

EgyptAir said the platform will also allow it to notify passengers more quickly about flight delays, schedule changes, and cancellations.

Captain Ahmed Adel, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, said digital transformation remained "among the company's top priorities" as the airline seeks to improve the passenger experience.

"Technology has become a key element in delivering more seamless and flexible travel experiences," Adel said.

"The new platform will enhance the company's ability to leverage data and intelligent analytics to further develop its services and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty."

The airline said the agreement forms part of a broader programme to modernize its digital infrastructure, online services and customer support from booking through post-travel assistance.

The Salesforce deal follows a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Huawei in 2025 covering digital infrastructure, smart communications, and artificial intelligence technologies.

The agreement also comes as EgyptAir continues to expand its international network and modernize its fleet. The airline expects to receive 28 new aircraft over 2026 and 2027 as part of plans to increase its fleet to about 125 aircraft.
