The series builds on P+US’s recent large-scale electronic music productions, including Anyma’s Quantum Genesys show at the Giza Pyramids, as well as earlier events featuring Carl Cox, Tiësto, and Miss Monique. It also underlines the North Coast’s growing profile as a summer destination for international electronic music.
Comprising Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, Adriatique have become one of the most prominent duos in melodic house and techno since forming in 2009. They are known for atmospheric, slow-building sets that move between melodic techno, progressive house, and indie dance.
The Swiss duo has performed at major festivals, including Tomorrowland, and toured internationally with immersive audiovisual productions.
Their North Coast performance will mark the Egyptian debut of AA, their new performance concept, which combines music with architectural lighting, monochrome visuals, and geometric stage design to create an immersive experience that complements their cinematic sound.
Following Adriatique’s opening show, Haitian DJ and producer Francis Mercier will perform on 31 July.
Known for a global house sound drawing on Africa, the Caribbean, and the Levant, Mercier has performed at major festivals and venues across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Bosnian-born, Hamburg-based DJ and producer Solomun will take over the series on 7 August.
A co-founder of the influential Diynamic label, Solomun is a defining figure in contemporary house music, known for his extended sets and long-running Solomun+1 residency at Pacha Ibiza.
The series will conclude on 21 August with South African DJ and producer Black Coffee.
Winner of the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Subconsciously, Black Coffee has taken his South African-rooted house sound to major stages, including Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Madison Square Garden. He has collaborated with Drake and David Guetta and produced a remix for Alicia Keys.
