The new service is part of the Public Prosecution's strategy to expand digital services, improve access to judicial services, and protect the confidentiality of personal data in accordance with the law.
The service is provided through the individual's digital identity system, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, to verify the identity of the person inquiring and ensure that the information is accessible only to them.
The Public Prosecution said the system uses technical and procedural safeguards designed to protect personal data and maintain the confidentiality of judicial information.
The launch follows the prosecution's review of citizens' requests and inquiries submitted through various communication channels, which highlighted the need for an online service to check criminal judgments.
The prosecution explained that the information available through the service is limited to criminal judgments registered under the defendant's national ID number and recorded in its electronic systems, based on the most up-to-date data in its database.
It added that the electronic inquiry result does not replace official certificates or documents issued by the competent authorities.
The Public Prosecution stated that the new service reflects its efforts to build an integrated digital justice system using modern technology, improve communication with citizens, and support Egypt's broader digital transformation agenda.
The service is currently available in Arabic on the Public Prosecution's official website. Users are required to register through the Digital Egypt (Misr Digital) platform using their Egyptian national ID number.
