In southern Gaza, an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis killed two people, including an eight-year-old girl, and wounded three others, one of them critically, according to medical sources at Nasser Hospital.
The attack destroyed several displacement tents, leaving dozens of families homeless amid severe overcrowding in Al-Mawasi, where hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are sheltering.
In central Gaza, 18-month-old Zaid Mohammed Nofal was killed, and several Palestinians were injured when an Israeli airstrike hit an apartment belonging to the Nofal family in Al-Bureij refugee camp, according to medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital cited by Al Jazeera.
A second airstrike later targeted another apartment in the camp after its residents had evacuated.
In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes, including one targeting a residential apartment in the Al-Nasr neighbourhood, west of the city, near Al-Maamounia School.
The pre-dawn strike wounded 13 Palestinians, including eight children, according to sources at Al-Shifa Medical Complex. Nearby displacement tents and surrounding facilities were also damaged.
Another residential apartment in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, was also struck, prompting more residents to flee the area.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli occupation forces continued to bombard areas beyond the so-called "Yellow Line," while carrying out sustained airstrikes and systematic demolitions targeting what remains of homes and buildings in those areas.
Despite the ceasefire remaining in effect, the Israeli military has continued to violate the agreement through attacks on civilians and extensive demolition and bulldozing operations, further worsening the destruction and humanitarian crisis across the besieged territory.
In its daily report issued on Wednesday, Gaza's Ministry of Health said hospitals had received the bodies of two people killed and treated 29 wounded over the previous 24 hours.
The ministry said the death toll since the start of Israel's genocidal war on Gaza on 7 October 2023 had risen to 73,335, while the number of injured reached 174,025.
Since the latest ceasefire took effect on 10 October 2025, the ministry said it has recorded 1,209 deaths, 3,943 injuries, and the recovery of 803 bodies from beneath the rubble.
