Gradual disarmament
The agreement also stipulates that the National Committee will oversee the inventorying and storage of weapons, the source said.
According to the source, the process will be carried out gradually and in phases.
The agreement links the start of the weapons inventory process to the entry of the National Committee into Gaza and the deployment of an international peacekeeping force, the source added.
The source said Hamas and the other Palestinian factions had responded positively to proposals put forward by the mediators aimed at preserving stability in Gaza and advancing reconstruction efforts.
US President Donald Trump thanked mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for their important efforts to reach this agreement.
