According to the Egyptian presidency, El-Sisi welcomed King Hamad to "his second country, Egypt," reaffirming the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across various fields.
The discussions focused on ways to further enhance Egyptian-Bahraini relations and exchanging views on key regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meeting followed a phone call between the two leaders on Monday, during which they reviewed the latest developments in the region, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip and ongoing efforts to contain regional tensions.
King Hamad also expressed Bahrain's solidarity with Egypt following the earthquake that was felt in several parts of the country earlier this week.
