Vadim Zaychikov, director of the Russian Cultural Centres in Egypt, met ERU President Sherif Fakhry to discuss strengthening cooperation through cultural, educational, and awareness initiatives.
The two sides also discussed increasing student participation in activities and projects organized by the Russian House in Cairo as part of broader academic and cultural exchanges between Egypt and Russia.
Zaychikov later toured the university campus, which has more than 11,000 students, visiting lecture halls, academic facilities, and other educational infrastructure.
Founded in 2006 with three faculties, ERU has expanded to eight faculties offering programmes across a range of disciplines.
