In a phone call with his Sudanese counterpart Mohieddin Salem, Abdelatty stressed Egypt's deep-rooted, historic, and fraternal ties with Sudan and affirmed Cairo's keenness to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

He also reiterated Egypt's continued support and assistance to Sudan and its people amid the country's ongoing challenges.

Moreover, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's firm position in support of Sudan's unity, territorial integrity, sovereignty, and national institutions, rejecting any attempts to partition the country or undermine the unity and cohesion of the Sudanese state.

He stressed that the Sudanese people themselves must solely determine Sudan's future and that any political process should be based on full Sudanese ownership, preserve the country's resources, and meet the aspirations of its people for security and stability.

The two sides agreed to maintain close coordination and consultations in the coming period.

Separately, Abdelatty praised the depth and strategic nature of Egypt's relations with the UAE in a phone call with Emirati Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The two sides exchanged views on regional developments and stressed the need to intensify efforts to de-escalate tensions and contain the current regional situation.

They underscored the importance of returning to compliance with the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran to create conditions for the resumption of political and diplomatic tracks and prevent the conflict from spreading.

They also stressed the importance of respecting international law and safeguarding the security, safety, and freedom of international navigation.

The talks covered the developments, including the continued Israeli violations and escalation, in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Abdelatty and Al Nahyan stressed the importance of completing the implementation of all commitments under the first phase of US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan, in accordance with its announced roadmap, to consolidate stability and pave the way for subsequent phases.

They also called for an end to Israeli escalation and practices in the West Bank, rejecting any measures that undermine prospects for peace and a two-state solution.

Furthermore, the two sides emphasized the importance of preserving the territorial unity of the Palestinian territories, including Gaza and the West Bank.

The Egyptian and Emirati FMs also exchanged assessments of the latest developments in Sudan and regional and international efforts to address the crisis.

They stressed the importance of continued coordination to support Sudan's security and stability and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Sudanese people.

The two sides concluded their talks by agreeing to maintain close consultations on various issues of mutual concern to safeguard regional security and stability.
