The exercise, which continued for several days, was attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, and commanders of the Armed Forces' main branches and several senior military commanders.
The exercise began with a review of previous work and commanders' management decisions while executing the exercise.
The review was followed by discussions on methods for carrying out assigned tasks and the decision-making process for addressing operational developments.
The training emphasized high-level planning and the management of the various stages of the exercise, with officials stressing that training is the core of combat readiness and a key factor in enabling the armed forces to carry out their missions with a high degree of precision.
Khalifa also attended one of the exercise's stages, during which participating formations presented their decisions and arrangements for coordinating cooperation among different military specialisations.
He discussed planning methods with the participants and the management of assigned tasks to ensure appropriate decisions were taken during the exercise.
The exercise forms part of the training programme for Egyptian Armed Forces formations and units. It demonstrated the high level of military personnel's field training and their ability to coordinate and work jointly across different arms and specializations efficiently and effectively.
