The application is designed to streamline the process of buying, selling, renting and managing properties, including the related legal procedures and steps required to complete real estate transactions.
The new digital service is also intended to facilitate the delivery of tax services related to real estate transactions, supporting the government’s efforts to expand digital services for both investors and citizens.
The application was announced during the inauguration of a premium tax services centre in New Alamein City by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
Egypt’s real estate sector has majorly contributed to the country’s economic growth. It continues to bring in new investments in tourism, retail, construction, and services and is estimated to be contributing around nine to 10 percent of the GDP, as of April 2026.
Egypt’s residential real estate market is expected to grow by 9.2 percent to generate $10.7 billion in 2026 alone, from $9.8 billion in 2025, while during the first half of FY 2025/2026, which ended in June 2026, net investment inflows from real estate purchases by non-residents alone recorded $732.1 million.
The app's launch is part of Egypt's plan in leveraging digital solutions to faciliate government tax services available for citizens and investors in the real estate sector, improving trust with the business community and enhancing cooperation between the state and taxpayers.
Moreover, in its push to further strengthen the sector, Egypt launched a mobile application in June that allows property owners to submit sector-related tax declarations and make advance payments electronically, settle outstanding liabilities, apply for tax exemptions related to a family's primary residence, which the government has also increased from EGP 2 million to EGP 8 million.
As of June 2026, real estate sales had surpassed EGP 1.2 trillion over the previous two years, with the North Coast accounting for around 36 percent of the sector’s total in Egypt.
These moves also support other efforts to boost simplification through an integrated electronic tax system that will expedite and automate tax procedures to encourage compliance, expand the tax payer base and increase satisfaction among investors, which will in turn, push for expanded production and export activities, according to finance minister Ahmed Kouchouk.
This aligns with the country’s package of real estate tax facilitations, which includes higher exemption limits, discounts and settlement incentives, as well as fully digital services to support digital transformation.
The government continues to develop its tax system to establish a "customer service culture" and increase attractiveness of Egypt’s business environment by offering more incentives, according to Madbouly.
Furthermore, other steps have been taken recently to modernize digital government procedures, attract higher-quality foreign and local investment and boost private-sector-led growth, which is in line with the current Extended Fund Facility (EFF) loan program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which concludes in December.
Egypt is targeting an investment-to-GDP ratio of 17 percent in its 2026/2027 budget across multiple sectors, with total investments projected to reach EGP 3.7 trillion.
In other related news, Egypt’s General Authority for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) inked a collaboration agreement with multinational online real estate portal Property Finder, to implement training that qualifies local real estate brokers and their practies in the real estate brokerge sector.
GOEIC is a governement service authority that operates under the Ministy of Investment and Foreign Trade, working to protect the consumer, examining Egyptian exports and imports of goods and raise their competitiveness.
Real estate brokers were recently instructed by the state, as per a law, to register with GOEIC’s specialized brokers registry and obtain an official state license to allow them to handle any sector related contracts and practice the profession.
The training will cover legislative aspects in the profession, fundamentals of contract drafting, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements and other essential skills.
It will help brokers meet requirements needed to acquire professional licenses and follow legal regulations, which will increase transparency and protect market participant rights, especially in the private sector.
