Fifteen people were killed and dozens of others injured in a blast Tuesday that rocked Aleppo University, the top academic institution in northern Syria's embattled city, said a monitoring group.
The explosion struck an area between the university dormitories and the architecture faculty, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which added that the cause of the blast was not immediately known.
"At least 15 people were killed and dozens were injured," the watchdog said.
