Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi said Friday that he expects his team to beat Ethiopia well and qualify for next year's World Cup in Brazil in style.
Nigeria won the first leg of their World Cup play-off 2-1 in Ethiopia last month.
“We want to win against them and win well,” Keshi said in Calabar, Nigeria's southern coastal city, venue of Saturday's match.
“We have also not lost any game away and we are the champions of Africa. We must be ready at all times for any opposition and I think that is what we are set to do on Saturday.”
Ethiopia’s last visit to Nigeria was in March 2011 and they lost 4-0 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match with a brace each by Peter Utaka and Ikechukwu Uche.
Skipper Vincent Enyeama said Ethiopia will not deny the Super Eagles a fifth trip to the World Cup.
“We are hundred per cent fit. There is no way any team can deny us the World Cup ticket at this point,” said the Lille goalkeeper.
“We may have made mistakes along the line but the focus is total and we will get what we and Nigerians desire against Ethiopia.”
